Background
Medical application of radiation is essential in modern medicine, and has been continuously increasing. In fact, the first application of radiation since its discovery was to the medical field. Radiation medicine is an important interdisciplinary study bridging clinical and basic medicine as well as clinical practice. The institute aims to facilitate multidisciplinary convergence research by combining clinical research with the radiation- and radioisotope-based basic research for the development of medicine.
