Chronic kidney disease and end-stage renal disease, which require kidney transplantation or dialysis, are major health concerns. The exacerbation of chronic kidney disease currently has limitations on the treatment.
To overcome this, the Kidney Research Institute focuses on patient-centered translation research and basic science. Our long-term objective is to develop an accurate diagnosis of kidney disease and the treatment method focusing on those patients who require dialysis and kidney transplant.
