The Transplantation Research Institute conducts organ transplant research to fundamentally treat patients with end-stage organ failure.
The institute targets to the promotion of public health and welfare by developing new transplantation techniques, such as the immunomodulatory technology to suppress transplant rejection or xenotransplantation, and conducting intermediary research that extends the results of basic research from the small animal and primate model studies into clinical trials.
